Miguel-Angel Fernandez revolutionises Storyboard Creation

Discover how he effortlessly turned visual ideas into compelling storyboards, aligning his team and clients like never before.

Miguel-Angel Fernandez, a movie producer, photographer, and founder of the agency and artistic direction office LITO, faced the challenge of developing creative storylines and universes for his clients. Creating these concepts using real photoshoots, especially in the early stages, was both costly and time-consuming.

To overcome this, Miguel-Angel turned to Pimento.

Challenge

Miguel-Angel needed a tool helping him efficiently communicate his creative vision, build mood boards and storyboards, and generate visual concepts for his projects—particularly for a personal series he was developing.

Traditional methods of concept creation required extensive back-and-forth between teams and clients, which slowed the process.

Miguel-Angel about Pimento:

"I love the image results Pimento gave me. It sparked so many new ideas. Not only did it allow me to communicate my creative vision smoothly with my team, but it also saved me so much time with clients. I could easily share the storyboards I created in Pimento, and from there, continuing with the photoshoots and films became much easier."

Solution

With Pimento, Miguel-Angel was able to brainstorm and generate visuals effortlessly. He created a model depicting creative universe he envisioned for his series by uploading inspirational references from films and artists he liked.

Using simple prompts like "a man sitting on a bench" along with Pimento's Prompt Enhancement, he started expanding creative universe he envisioned for the series.

He continued creative exploration with prompts such as "man in shadow" and "man in a dark suit."

For building the final storyboard, his priority was to maintain a consistent camera angle throughout, which he easily achieved by adding 'from above perspective' to his prompts. He also ensured a consistent ratio of 16:9, which he easily selected in the ratio settings.

Outcome

By using Pimento, Miguel-Angel drastically reduced the number of back-and-forth communications, saving several days of work, while also generating more creative and innovative ideas for his series. LITO successfully created a storyboard for the new project that aligned both his team and clients on the vision.
